The Bear

I wanted to show you guys a quick picture of the actual bear we had in the campground that we go to.  He was just a little cub, but he made life interesting for the campground owners!!

Under the Stars

Here is the second card that I worked on today.  I just love this bear!  He makes me think about the camping that my family does every summer in New Hampshire.  This year we actually had a couple of bears living in the campground that we go to!!  I free hand cut around the word Grrreat, then matted it on Tangerine Tango and free hand cut that also.

Cardstock- Night of Navy, Whisper White, Tang. Tango and Tempting Turquoise
Punches- Large and Small Star
Silver brads

For All You Do

Hi All.  Well the holidays are over.  So much prep work and it goes by so fast!  We had a great time though, except for colds all around.  I am starting my New Years resolution early by posting 2 new cards.  I am not going to neglect my blog in 2011!!  I pulled out the stamp set For All You Do for this card.  The Real Red called out for an I Love You saying.  It is part of a stamp from the set Picture This.

Cardstock- Real Red, RR DSP, Old Olive, Basic Black and Whisper White.
Ribbon- Two strands of 1/8 taffeta in Real Red

Bridal Shower Favor

A friend of mine is the maid of honor in a wedding and she asked for a little help with the favors.  The brides mother had bought these measuring spoons about 4 years ago and then had bought the ribbon to tie around them.  They wanted to put the little poem onto a heart.  I wrote the poem on the computer, printed it out onto SU Very Vanilla paper and cut them out using the big shot.  I popped a glue dot on the back and attached.  Very simple, but very elegant.  Sorry the picture is a little blurry.  I'm not a very good photographer!

Owl Friend card

My very first post.  Very exciting!  I made this card a little while ago.  I just love the owl punch.  There is so much you can do with him.
