New Blog

Hi Everyone.  I just wanted to let you all know that I have started a new blog and will no longer be posting here.  I was having a hard time setting up workshops and other posts that I switched to a different site.  Please visit me at www.stampingforfun.wordpress.com.  Happy Stamping!

Baby Tri-fold albums

Here are two more albums that I designed.  I did one for a boy and one for a girl.  I went onto Google Imagines and searched Punch Art and found this cute teddy bear and duck!  I just love playing with my punches!!!

Volleyball Double Tri-fold Album

Happy Saturday everyone!  We've been all over the place in the last couple of months.  Florida, Maine, New Hampshire! Not to mention sports stuff here at home.  Finally getting down to some serious stamping here!  This is an album that a customer asked me to design for her daughters volleyball team captians who are graduating this year.  With a little help from some pre-made Volleyball stickers (Stampin' Up! doesn't have a volleyball theme stamp right now), I think they came out pretty good (if I do say so myself).
Sorry for the background of the picture.  Not to pretty.  I'll do better next time, promise.

I'm back!

Ok I haven't posted all summer!!  I can't believe it.  Where does the time go?  I did have time to stamp a little bit, but I never seemed to have the time to download and post.

I just love all the new stamps sets in the 2011-2012 Catalog.  Need for Speed is one of my favorites.  My husband has one of these ATV's.  I think this will make a great birthday card for him.

Ballerina Card

A co-worker asked me to make a card for her granddaughter who is a Ballerina.  I used the Round Tab punch and the blossom petal punch for the skirt.  I love Punch Art!!

Father's Day Card

I just realized that tomorrow is Father's Day!!  I found this card http://jenniemstampinspot.blogspot.com/2011/06/fathers-day-pennant-parade.html and pretty much cased it completely.  The only thing that I changed was the flag.  Happy Father's Day to all my wonderful friends!!

Baseball Thank You Card

We just finished our 3rd year of Instuctional Baseball with our son.  He was lucky enough to be with the best coaches!!  I made this card for our 4 coaches and added gift cards from the whole team.

Beach Bag

Well, I did it again. I have been so busy and I've neglected my blog. I have made a lot of teachers gifts for the end of the year. I have also had some of my "girls" over to work on different teacher gifts. I can't believe that the school year is over in 3 more days! I feel like my son just started Kindergarten, but now he is almost done with the second grade!

I used the Summer Fun set to make these flip flop cards. I just love this set! To make the beach bag big enough to fit 8 cards and envelopes I took a piece of 12x12 DSP, cut it at 7 1/2 inches then cut that into 2-6 inch pieces. I sealed the 2 pieces together at the short ends to make one 6X14 3/4 inch long piece using the double sided red tape. I next took a piece of cardstock, cut it 5 1/2x3 1/2. Score this piece at a half inch all around and make a box. Using the red line tape I attached the DSP to the box to make the bag in a box. Last, I sealed two 7 1/2 inch pieces of cardstock together for the top and bottom and attached two 3/4 inch pieces for the handles. Great summer birthday gift!!

Graduation Cards

Ok 3 posts in one day! I am so behind because sometimes my blog doesn't let me upload pictures. I'm alot more handy with stamps and paper than I am with computers. Bear with me everyone.
These are some cards I designed for some more of my co-workers. This is a very busy Graduation Season for people!!

Scoring time saving trick

I have been cutting up a lot of cards lately for my CF workshops and orders that I've gotten. Scoring every card individually is very time consuming. I figured out that if I score a piece of 8 1/2x 11 cardstock before cutting it that I can score 2 cards for the same amount of time that it takes to score 1!! This also works if you are making a number of 3x3 cards. Just take a piece of 12x12 cardstock and score it at 3 inches and 9 inches. Then you can cut the paper at the 6 inch mark. Turn it and cut the scored paper at 3 inch cuts. You now have 8 cards scored in the time that it usually takes to score 2! Hope this helps some of you out. I never realized when I was just taking workshops how much time it takes to cut out the projects.

Flip Flop Bag and Card Set

I made this bag to go with the matching cards for a co-worker to give as a gift. I love the flip flops, but didn't love coloring them all in!!

Fundraising results

I wanted to thank everyone who helped make my CF fundraising efforts so successful. A special thanks to my dear friend, Michelle Surette. She came along to all of the workshops except for one. Without her help I would have been in trouble (especially the one with 17 girls!!). Altogther I raised $1420 to help find a cure for CF. It's a great feeling to be able to help out doing something that I love so much!

Bunny and a carrot!

Wow 2 posts in one day. Can you tell I did just about nothing today except stamp!! I cased this Bunny from a blog I found today. I thought I saved the blog on my favorites, but now I can't find it anywhere. I'll let you know when I find her again. The only thing I did different was to use the Weathered background stamp on the carrot. She used the Swiss Dots embossing folder. Love punch art! I used the Ornament punch, the Itty Bitty punches and the petal punch from the Occasions Mini. Can't wait for the Easter Bunny!

Unfrogettable

Hello Everyone. I have so much fun using punches to creative things! This cute frog was made using the wide oval, large oval, 3/4" cicle, 1 1/4" circle, 3 1/8" circle, triple flower, triple heart and the owl punch. The saying inside is from the retired set Unfrogettable. Thanks for looking!

Fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis

Hello All, I am copying my up-up line with a stamp-a-stack workshop fundraiser. On May 21st I will be walking in a Great Strides Walk to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. One of my best friends in the world has a daughter battling this disease. I want to raise as much money as I can to help find a cure. Join me in one of my many workshops that I will doing. All proceeds will go straight to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We will be doing these two cards. Three of each design. Six in total for 20 dollars.

A Birdy Birthday!!

Hi all. I cased this card from a stamper named Kim. She has wonderful stuff. I loved her color combo. The only thing I changed was the ribbon and I added googly eyes.

Trendy Flower

Hello all. Here's another card I worked on last night. I put it together and took it apart about a million times changing things. I like the way it came out though. I used the stamp set Trendy Trees. I don't think you can tell in the picture, but I embossed the white on the flower. This is a possiblity for Feb. 20th class.

Happiness Always

Hi all. Mr. Brown (aka the UPS guy) came yesterday with a whole bunch of new goodies for me. I couldn't wait to use the Framed Tulips impression folder. This card looks to me like a wedding, anniversary or engagement card. This will be one of the cards that we will make on Febuary 20th. Email me to sign up!

Butterfly frame

I cased this from a blogger named Patrice. She is so creative. I think it would be perfect in a little girls room or just out for a spring decoration.
